The company was founded in 1987 by Blake Vernon, and our roots in Oklahoma City run deep. From the beginning, we’ve focused on engineering fundamentals instead of chasing market hype. For nearly 40 years, we’ve believed the best way to run an energy company is to stay close to the ground and think long-term. We’re an independent team managing roughly 250 wells, and we stay closely involved in day-to-day operations in a way that’s becoming harder to find. From the Anadarko Basin to the Bakken, we’ve remained profitable through multiple market cycles by keeping debt low and technical standards high. We don’t see ourselves as just another E&P operator. We’re local partners who take responsibility for the land, our stakeholders, and the long-term future of energy in the Mid-Continent.
